This weekend, July 26th and 27th, Kashiwa City will see its 31st annual festival. From 2 to 9 pm each day of the festival, you can catch the festival dance, bearing of the portable shrines, ladies in kimono dancing in formation, drunken louts dancing in disarray, amd drumming both Japanese and African.
